

The National Women’s Soccer League will host the 2025 NWSL Skills Challenge on November 21 at San Jose State University. Two teams of star players will compete in fun skill contests before the championship match.
The 2025 NWSL Skills Challenge, presented by CarMax, will be held on Friday, November 21, starting at 5 p.m. Pacific Time at the Spartan Soccer Complex on the campus of San Jose State University. This event is part of the league's celebration leading up to the NWSL Championship.
Two teams made up of NWSL stars will compete in a series of skill contests including the Relay Rumble, Gauntlet, and Crossbar Challenge. These contests test speed, agility, and shooting accuracy. The team that wins will share a prize of approximately €28,000, provided by CarMax.
The Skills Challenge will be broadcast nationally on CBS and streamed on Paramount+ on Saturday, November 29, at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time (1:30 p.m. Eastern Time). This is the third annual edition of the event, which aims to showcase player talents and engage fans.
Confirmed participants include Riley Tiernan, Carson Pickett, Racheal Kundananji, Ally Schlegel, Brianna Pinto, Delphine Cascarino, and Croix Bethune. Full team rosters will be announced soon. Players who reach the championship match will not take part in the Skills Challenge.
Fans attending the event in person will have the opportunity to meet players after the competition. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the venue.
The 2025 NWSL Championship, presented by Google Pixel, will be held the next day, Saturday, November 22, at 5 p.m. Pacific Time (8 p.m. Eastern Time) at PayPal Park in San Jose. The match will also be broadcast live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+.
