Casey Murphy signed a contract with Boston Legacy FC. The deal is worth 1.4 million EUR and runs through the 2029 season. There is an option for 2030.
Murphy played before for North Carolina Courage. She is a key player for the U.S. women's national team. She was the backup goalkeeper in the 2023 World Cup and the 2024 Olympics. The team won gold there. She has 20 caps for the national team. She is 29 years old and 6 feet 1 inch tall.
